Who we are
A small lab, run by people who build.
Quinn Labs is deliberately small. One founder, a bench, and a network of engineers, growers, operators and makers who get pulled in when a question needs them.
The lab is founded and run by Matt Quinn, working from Surrey in the United Kingdom. The background is transport and logistics — real vehicles, real depots, real routes — which is why most of the research starts with physical work rather than software.
There are no stock team photos on this site and no personal social feeds. That is a choice. The work is the thing worth looking at, and it is all published here: prototypes, pilots, open questions and the projects that failed.
When a project needs skills the lab doesn't have — chemistry, horticulture, acoustics, fabrication — we bring in specialists for that project rather than pretending to be a large organisation.

How you can check us
We publish the failures.
The Graveyard and The Unfinished List exist so you can see what didn't work, not just the showreel.
We don't sell decks.
Every engagement ends in something that runs — a prototype, a pilot, or a written answer with the evidence attached.
We name the stage honestly.
Question, research, prototype, pilot or live. Nothing on this site is described as further along than it is.
We're contactable by a human.
Enquiries go to one inbox and get a reply from the person who would do the work.
